Slip-N-Slide

It was so hot the other day I set up the slip-n-slide and pool for the kids to play out back. 

Hunter would start running all the way from the shed and stop just as he came to the slide and lay on his belly and that's how far he would get, it was so cute.  The kids played outside for hours and weren't tried, I was laying in the hammock and was exhausted.  I am sad summer is coming to a end.

CamPing

The annual Ferron camping trip.  Once again Steve was unable to come to his family's camping trip, but I went and took the kids.  The kids had a blast, the first day we got up there is was raining, Hunter loved jumping in all the rain puddles and was soaked from head to toe.  I did bring rain boots but forgot to get them on the kids, until after the rain had stopped!  While we were there we did lots of crafts with the kids, made leather bracelets, bubble blowers, played games, Madison favorite was Yahtzee.  We went down to the lake to try to skip rocks and end up just throwing rocks in the lake with all the cousins.  We sleep a tent this year, it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.  The kids thought it was pretty cool .  Had fun taking the four wheelers for rides, the older kids decide to go through every mud pile and the were covered in mud.  The kids really love camping.

HoGle ZoO

The kids have been asking to go to the zoo all summer long so Cami, baby Madison and my mom went to the Zoo.  The kids loved all the new dinosaurs around the Zoo, but kinda bummed with all the construction, alot of the animals weren't there.  But as always the kids had fun and went on the carousel, train ride, and  loved the bird show.

Hunter's 3rd Birthday - Cars Party

I can't believe my little guy is 3 years old, it just went by so fast.  He turned 3 back on the 3rd of July and it has just been so busy I haven't had a time to post.  Hunter absolutely loved the Cars 2 movie and Cars so it was a no brainier to have CARS party.  I wanted everything to have a Cars theme.  The whole family came over for some yummy dinner, cake and ice cream!  Hunter was spoiled with tons of gifts, aunts and uncles gave every type of Disney car gifts, Steve, me and grandparents got him a trek bike.  Hunter couldn't open the present fast enough, and wanted to play with them all at once.

Hunter had his 3 year check up and these are his stats.

Height: 40 inches - 95%

Weight: 35.5lbs - 83%

Hunter loves to do everything that Madison does.  Loves to not hear you when you call him.  Can probably run faster than Mommy.  Loves to sing bedtime songs.  Is getting really good at saying the pray.  Loves playing with all of his CARS.  Never looks at the camera!! Will be going to preschool this year 2 days a week :(  Hunter, you are the sweetest boy and you make us laugh everyday!  You are a wonderful son and sweet little brother.   Mommy, Daddy and Madison  love you so much!!

T-BALL

Madison has been playing T-ball this summer and she loves it.  She might not fully understand the game but she gets that you hit the ball, throw the bat, run and always throw to first base :)  She is on the team with a few of her dance friends.  It is so much fun watching her.  Hunter is dying to play but you have to be 5 years old to play.  I can't believe the summer is almost over and my little girl is going to be in Kindergarten this year.
