Universal Studios

We couldn't wait to go to Universal Studios, I haven't been since I was a child, and Steve and Madison have never been. Madison was super excited because Universal Studios has new characters to meet and guess who it is? Scooby Doo, Shaggy and the Mystery Machine. We first spotted Scooby and Shaggy when we were on the Studio Tour Bus, which was alot of fun seeing where movies have been made and are being made. The Desperate House wife street, the old Bates Motel and much more.
When we were waiting by the Revenge of the Mummy ride, one of the mummies was following Madison around, it was kind of scaring her so I let her know that this is the mummy off of the Scooby movies and he isn't real, the mummy over heard and grab on to her hand and starting taking her over to this back area where Scooby, Shaggy and the Mystery machine were, she was in awe over them giving them hugs and kisses to Scooby and Shaggy.
Other fun attractions were Water World, which was just like the movie it was awesome. Another favorite of Madison was the Shrek 4-D, and the Simpson ride they were all lots of fun. We also meet so many characters, all of the Simpson's, Dora and Diego, Curious George, Sponge Bob and many many more. We had such a great time there, thanks again MOM!!

Sea World

I am posting randomly the places we went when we were in California. Sea World was the last stop of the trip. We loved going to all the different shows they had, Madison really liked the "Pet's Rule", its where they have dogs, cats, and pigs do all kinds of tricks. Madison thought it was cool when the cats were walking the tight rope, it was pretty amazing the things they taught the animals. The Shamu show was fun too, but during there winter hours they don't do the night show, but it was still alot of fun. Madison used to call Shamu shampoo it was so cute! We feed the dolphins and string rays which Madison really loved. One of her other favorites was the shark pool, she loved the part where you get to walk underneath them. I don't remember the Sesame Street Land last time we went, but Madison loved it and all the rides. We went on them over and over. We had a blast in Sea World!!

Madison had her pictures drawn what a cute stinker!!

Madison like this fish because it was the only orange fish in the tank with all the other scary eels.

San Diego ZOO

After arriving in San Diego and picking up Uncle Brett we went straight to the Zoo. We took a bus ride that went around 70% of the Zoo, it was well worth it because the Zoo is HUGE!! Madison had a blast being carried most of the way by Uncle Brett. We saw everything from hippos, giraffes, elephants, lions, pandas, flamingos, monkeys and so much more. It wasn't as warm as we planned, so that's why we are all bundle up and drinking hot chocolate. In the picture below with Madison and the monkey, it was so cute every time she put her hands on the glass the monkey would too, it would also start clapping his hands and bouncing all around.
I finally found it, I have been looking for a giraffe piggy bank for Hunter and I found one at the Zoo yeah!! If you are also wondering where Hunter is we decided to leave him back home with Aunt Lauri, where he had so much fun being with all the girls and Uncle Tom.

So below are pictures of how it looked when we got back from dinner and the zoo the first night. Talking with the server at dinner he said this is the most rain San Diego has gotten in one week for over 20 years. There were policemen on almost every corner directing traffic, because people didn't know how to drive in this weather, and the water drains weren't getting the water off the street fast enough. The second picture is the sidewalk and newspaper stand completely covered in water.
